Subject: Sugar, Sugar?????

why is it all the DIABETIC recipes ask for sugar or honey or brown sugar don't they realize that sugar is sugar except for the sustitutes.

I think it is sometimes necessary for the item to cook properly. everything in moderation! a little sugar is okay unless your sugar levels are out of control. or so I am told.
