I was at an international boarding school and in September of this year myself and my roommate were informed that we would be having surgery. We're both 16, we were informed when we were told to report to the school hospital for preparation for an exam the night before. We both had to change out of our uniforms and into hospital gowns. They then hooked us up to monitoring equipment and gave us an IV. The next morning we were told that we would be in surgery for anywhere between 3 to 4 hours and we would be having our tonsils, adniods and our appendix and possibly our gal bladder and cecum depending on what they decided to do during our lapescopic surgery. Both me and my roommate had our gal bladder and cecum removed.
