I got your story through one of my polls. Here it is with some comments:
Boy, 2-14yo, Cannada, a series of corrective procedures duee to dwarfism

I am a male. I was a child before schoolage. I was a school-aged child. I was a teenager. My exact age when this occured. 2 to 14 The exams occured in this geographical area: Canada Year 2000 or after. In North America.

I was examined in a hospital. How were you taken to the exam? I was brought in by my foster parents who later adopted me Who did the exam? A doctor who specializes in people who have dwarfism Who was also present during the exam? My foster/ adopted parents.

GENERAL LIST OF EXAMS

They examined my head teeth or jaws. They did an orthopedic exam. They examined the organs inside my chest. They examined my organs inside my stomach. They did a general examination of my pelvic zones.

They performed an electrocardiogram of my heart. They made interrogations about my social relations and my daily life. They took x-rays of the examined areas. They took tomographic x-ray scans of the examined areas. They took ultrasound pictures of the examined areas.

I was given anesthesia into the blood-stream. I was given anesthesia through a mask.

THE EXPERIENCE STEP-BY-STEP

My first surgery was when I was 2 for a surgery to stabilize my neck Then I also had a shunt put in my head to drain spinal fluid. Thereafter urgery on my legs. Then surgery on my ankles, and then surgery on my knees. Furthermore I had back surgery, and also cochlear implants.

REASON AND JUDGEMENT

What do you think was the reason for this exam? I have a type of dwarfism that causes problems with my joints and back What is your opinion about thios experience? They were really good at explaining it to me.

ARRANGEMENT AFTER SURGERIES

They used a catheter to collect urine after some of my surgeries. They palpated my outar male genitals and testicles. They slid down my foreskin and spread my urinary opening. I think they did a rectal or bowel exam when I was under anesthesia but they did not tell me.

DIAGNOSES

The exam did not result in any diagnosis. Just being a dwarf with compliments and going deaf overtime.

COMMENTS

This experience is typical for kids having some kind of deviation of development from the strict usual scheme. Every body part got examined and a series corrections made, often with suregry.

The examinations of the pelvic zones told about surely involved a detailled assessment of the hip joints, pelvic floor, urethra, bladder, rectun and lower digestive system, but made with general anesthesia.
