Subject: Boy, 8yo, North Am, procedure with anorectal focus due to digestive problems

Boy, 8yo, North America, exam and treatment of lower digestive problems

I am a male. I was a school-aged child, 8yo, Year 2000 or after, in North America. I was examined in a regular hospital I think. Mom and dad drove me. Doctor and some medical students examined me.


OVERVIEW OF THE ORDEAL

They examined my head teeth or jaws. They did an orthopedic exam. They examined the organs inside my chest. They examined my organs inside my stomach. They examined my genitals. They examined my rectal zone. They did a general examination of my pelvic zones. They inserted instruments into my mouth. They inserted instruments into my rectal opening, finger, tube. They performed a psychological exam. They made interrogations about my social relations and my daily life. They took x-rays of the examined areas.


ANESTHESIA AND ARRANGEMENTS

I was given anesthesia through a mask. I was totally put to sleep.

I was totally naked. My positions during the exam: lying down


THE ORDEAL STEP BY STEP

Checked regular health stuff like breathing reflexes and things like that. Medical students watched the doctor rub my stomach. It hurt a lot and I cried some. Medical students watched as I was made to roll over as the doctor inserted a finger into my bottom. He felt around inside me and it hurt a lot to. I cried some during this. Medical students and doctors watched a tube put in my bottom and a oil went into it. A potty was put on the floor of the room. I was made to sit in it and release what was put in me. The exam ended this way: I was wheeled to another room. A mask was put on me. I remember lying down and then going to sleep.


ARRANGEMRNTS AFTER THE EXAM

I woke up later in a hospital bed under a blanket and wearing a diaper. I stayed for another day. What is your opinion about thios experience? It didn't seem pleasant.


UROGENITAL EXAM

I suspect they examined my urinary or genital system under anesthesia but I do not remember. They palpated my outar male genitals and testicles.


ANORECTAL EXAM

They spread my cheeks and examined extarnally my rectal zone. They examined my rectum with an inserted finger. They did some more things these were: A tube was put in me and oil was put into it.

OBSERVATIONS

I had strange pain or irritation in my rectal zone and stomach as if my rectum or bowel had been secretly examioned. My rectal area hurt a lot but my stomach felt a lot better. I felt empty again.

I didn't know medical students would be watching. It was embarassing. The exam took a very long time. I was nervous the whole time.


DIAGNOSIS AND FOLLOW-UP

Psychological or social counceling as follow up.


COMMENTS

It looks like the boy had problems with passage of stomach content due to bad habits and got constipated.

What heppened during the time under general anesthesia is probably a total flushing of his colon to give it a new start. They probably also performed a colonoscopy.

Also they used the boy as training object for medical students.
