Subject: Orthopedic treatments in Slovakia?

Hello,

Are there any reports about these kind of exams from Slovakia? I was living in Bratislava, and from 2004 to 2007 I visited a Orthopedic doctor, that did very odd examinations on me. I was affected by mild scoliosis, and misalignment of hip, when growing up. From I was 11 years old, I had to visit an Orthopedic doctor (he was normally Chriropractor I think), who perform examinations and treatments on me. This happened once per month, but when I enter into puberty, I had to go to him, sometimes even once per week. My mother or father would accompany me first year, but after some time, I went to him alone. Since treatments and exam took up to 45 - 60 minutes. He also gave me some medicine in a cup, to drink, before starting treatment. He say this was for pain and to help relax.

As I am now older, I realize that this doctor did exams and treatments that are not normal and professional. Back then , I did not understand, I was too young to understand fully all my body reactions. I was also ashamed , to tell my mother about it. This doctor had so much respect.
