I live in Indiana now, but it makes me miss seeing HD at the Club Soda in K-zoo when I was going to school at WMU. First I just want to tell ya that I am a huge fan. I have been to alot of your concerts. I first saw you in Kalamazoo, MI. Then I moved to Dubuque, IA where I was at your concert at the Bricktown Brewery, We have also been to your Iowa City and Waterloo shows....Anyway My wife and I moved to Juneau, Alaska this fall and desperatly miss your live shows. So we were thinking that ya should come up here and for an awesome vacation and do a few shows while here. Everyone that hears your CDs up here loves ya. I live In Bloomington IN. and I was out with my friends, lookin for something to do. We walked past the Bluebird, and my buddy said lets check out that Hello Dave band.. I said nahh.. its probably just another dumb frat band... which Bluebird books ALOT! I agreed and went in.. BOY was I wrong. I was very impressed... its great to see some quality musicians for a change! I was an insta fan at first site. I was disappointed for you guys, cause there was like 20 people there :/ but thats bluebird for ya.. Despite that, COME BACK to Indiana. You might try Bedford, which is about 20 miles south of bloomington... I grew up there, and that is your town... you would own it! Try to book the Ole Downtown or 7th street lounge. I decided I needed a souvenir, and bought a hat. I wear it all the time (even to my college graduation) and see all the shows I can. Last year, about this time, I was driving from WI to AZ to attend some advanced flight training. Cruising along I40,(in the Jeep with no top, no doors, and no worries) I was right around an Amarillo TX overpass and a semi turck passed me and blew off my beloved hat. Without thinking twice, I pulled over to the right, ran across traffic, down a hill, and into oncoming traffic to retrive my hat. Relived to have recovered my hat, I returned to my Jeep only to find a Texas State Trooper preparing to write me a ticket. I explained to him what had occurred. He looked at me and said "You mean to tell me that you went through all that for a ball cap" All I could say was "Uh, Yep" He then said "Your a damn fool" got in his car and drove away.
