*She offers no consoling touch, the death of her only granddaughter had hit her with such a forceful blow she almost lost her balance, but the elder mare remains steady and quiet. It bitterly greived her to see those who denied the obvious to bring up the hopeless hopes of the one who expressed an idea such as Dark Angel had. Dishonesty was a hideous smack in the face to her, only to be used in times of genetic survival. Smart horses knew when to deceive, and smart horses often did it to produce smart offspring. She does not tell Dark Angel that she is glad the junior female has admitted to herself that the death of her filly was almost certain; she probably already knows. The wisest thing anyone ever learned was that things are learned without the learning being aware of it. Hyzenflae only hopes that Dark Angel is capable of learning the inevitable truths of the world, finally, she gives Dark Angel one bit of advice, although she would rather the mare had learned for herself the reason.* You must tell him. *The older pauses, pondering over how she might express the next detail without seeming to suggestive.* Think instead of when you felt his love, and tell him because you loved him once. *She does not like hearing that her son has been described as ignorant, but it is not seen on her expression nor posture.*
