Folks:

We're doing what we do in the off-season - selling tickets and advertising, getting our staff in place for 2003 and finding talent so we can be a better team on the field. Having Mike Moore aboard is making that easier, and the continuing of Greg Beck as our pitching coach has helped too. As far as Carlos, we're working on it!

We'll have our schedule out soon, along with the promotions and other stuff we'll have for you in 2003. We do open on May 23, and we'll be home the Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. We have 10 fireworks shows planned, with 9 Saturday dates and the Fourth of July itself. Other stuff, we'll let it out as soon as it's all confirmed.

Player wise, we have under contract: Rick Stegbauer (1B), Kris Regas (LHP), David Campos (LHP, with 5 years' experience in the Marlins organization), Chris Cesario (LHP, pitched in Italy last year) and Adam O'Reel (1B, rookie). I've talked to most of the guys who will be coming back, and we'll have a good core to start with.

Even though there's not a lot of 'baseball' news coming out, there's a lot going on down at the ballpark. We're getting ready for a great 2003, both on the field and off.

Thanks, and I'll try to keep everyone posted as best I can. Also, everyone please thank Deb Kozik for making the gocheetahs.com site look so good!

Chuck
