Are you sure you didnt get kicked off because you scammed out another non-profit organization? All you have to do is google your name and all the news articles on what you did show up. Im glad WUAH is looking out for people and not lettingyou on the site. Great job WUAH!


False soliciting for military gets woman court supervision

DECATUR - A woman who solicited cash to purchase candy and DVDs to send to military personnel overseas but never sent the items has pleaded guilty to a Class A misdemeanor in Macon County Circuit Court. Susan Renee Stuck, 39, pleaded guilty Wednesday to criminal damage to property under an agreement with the state�s attorney�s office. She had been charged with one felony count of theft of property having a value in excess of $300. Associate Judge Scott Diamond accepted the plea and placed Stuck under court supervision for six months. Stuck founded Helping Heroes, an organization that she represented was aiding armed forces personnel. She reached an agreement with Hollywood Video whereby its employees would ask customers if they cared to contribute to a fund to purchase candy and DVDs to be sent to military personnel overseas. Funds were solicited at the chain�s Decatur and Springfield stores. Assistant State�s Attorney Duane Deters said he settled on the misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property in negotiations with defense attorney Karen Root because of the contention that some of the food items Stuck has solicited were not any good because she had them so long. Police said several people contacted them with concerns about the legitimacy of her Helping Heroes operation. When detectives went to her northside apartment, she readily allowed them inside. The officers found dozens of boxes of items stacked in her living room, items solicited for the troops in Iraq but never shipped. Despite public statements about items she had shipped overseas,
