When a soul is born it is empty, waiting to be filled.
And in this great big world there is someone that will steal
The empty soul of solitude alone and content to be
Until your soul mate walks into your life and the soul opens its eyes to see
To see why this person moves you way beyond belief
With no explanation or conscience, it feels its first sign of relief.
The soul is made up of two parts one for life and death
To roam in heaven or in hell, somewhere, YOU will be left
The second part is for this life, to be filled or left alone
Andif you meet your soul mate, what ws once alone is whole.
So, the sould begins its journey to chase and capture its mate
It is not by choice that it does this, it's a longing, it's an ache.
To join with its completor, to be a whole, a one
And it will not and cannot stop until it is safe at home.
And if your soul mate goes far away, never to return again
A broken spirit is torn apart, never to heal, or mend.
And through the agony of being alone, and missing what is gone.
The two have become one, so the eternal soul of both lives on and on and on
