Wapda under fire in Senate

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Water and Power came under fire on Thursday from members of treasury benches in Senate for incorrect and over-billing in Balochistan.

The Senators were speaking on an Adjournment Motion moved by Senators Shahi Syed and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed regarding report of NEPRA for the year 2014-15 wherein it has been revealed that the efficiency of the Ministry of Water and Power is very poor and 70 percent consumers are getting incorrect bills.
