Subject: Welcome to the FRS Forum

My name is Nick and I would like to welcome everyone to the new FRS. I have received numerous phone calls and e-mails from racers that are very excited about this class, and I really think we are at the beginning of something that could grow into a big deal.

For those of you that don't know me, I handle the sales and marketing for North Star Dragway and also announce during the races. I have worked at NSD since it reopened in March of 2007, and have been in the drag racing business for almost 15 years, with the majority of that time spent at Texas Raceway in the 90s and early 2000s.

As I said, I think this class could develop quite a following, and finally give the guys with "true" street cars a chance to have some and make some money. My goal is to make this a fun and exciting class, while still keeping things reletively affordable for the racers and fans. Though you may not get rich running this class, you won't go broke either.

If you ever need anything regarding this class, feel free to contact me anytime. You can reach me here, via e-mail, or at the track. I am always open to suggestions and feedback, and after we get a couple of races under our belt, please let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve the class.

I look forward to meeting everyone at our first race this Friday, July 25th...only at NSD.
