In reply to: 's message, "What is required to win age devision natural i meant, Thanks for the info , im starting to understand little at a time" on 18:58:05 01/25/09 Sun

i am sure mrs. lucy will make an amicable schedule so all natural events can be at one time and then all glitz following after would be the logical thing to do. most pageant schedules are given out at registration and if you ask ahead of time 99% of the time the director makes changes b/w then and registration.just shoot her an email asking if she will have the natural OOc before the glitz beauty event.

natural ooc-is usally store bought or custom but w/o rhinestones and no full glitz modeling.

just take a breath and don't stress:)

reread the ppw and see what you need to win which titles and then make a chart on notebook paper and then decide what you would like to do.

if you are easily stressed or feel overwhelmed i recommend not to do both and just choose for your dd to compete in natural or glitz and then work it form there. pageants should not be stressful but a nice and fun bonding time with your child.

when a pageant says OOC- that means anything: swimwear, casualwear, westernwear, costume, sportswear, etc...

i suggest just stepping back- reread the ppw, write notes on paper for what you are interested in and keep in mind you need beauty, 1 ooc and 1 photogenic as a base for entering. the package includes all of that plus awards that she is elgible for .if this is your first national or fairly new to pageants -just keep it simple and watch what others do and soak it all in and learn from it all.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> I'm glad I'm not the only one confused here. lol The ppw says Natural Beauty then Glaitz Beauty then the other events. That is what I am having a problem with. You can't do Natiral events after Glitz Beauty. We would like to enter both. Thanks for your help. -- No name, 19:57:37 01/25/09 Sun [1]

this is what i am getting tell me if i am mistaken......
for natural competition, NATURAL BEAUTY, NATURAL OOC, NATURAL PHOTOGENIC.

THEN FOR GLITZ , GLITZ OOC , GLITZ PHOTO

then they have age devision glitz winner and age devision natural winner , Right????

And doing all of this you are eligable for all titles please corect me if i am wrong i dont want to do somethingg that is not required for winning anything.
Do i have to have a portfolio to win like mini or seomthing like that?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> I heard that Lucy is fixing the schedule to make it fair for natural and glitz. It will be ok. Just remember that if you tan before natural, your face will not match your body and no makeup is allowed at all. I haven't figured out how to handle that yet. -- No name, 06:53:11 01/26/09 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Yes I was told that too. To qualify to win either 5,000 bond you must compete in natural beauty, natural photo event and natural ooc or glitz beauty, photo event and glitz ooc.Just keep in mind if you want to compete as natural enter all natural stuff, if you want to compete as glitz, enter all glitz stuff. Don't let all the "extras" confuse you. Extras are just that- extras for pm's to enter their child if they wish. You can qualify to win the big $5,000 bonds with just entering the package deal. hth -- No name, 12:58:28 01/26/09 Mon [1]
