] Date Posted: 18:06:04 10/23/08 Thu Jayla Pendleton & her family need our help! Jayla is only 7 years old and particpates in pageants. Jayla has been diagnosed with LVH (Left Ventricle Hypertrophy), irregular heartbeat and a hole on the exterior wall of her heart. It will require not only corrective surgery, but the doctors will actually have to stop her heart and restart it by shocking it. Surgery was scheduled for tomorrow, but has been postponed for the family to meet with a new cardiologist at the Childrens Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Tomorrow she will have a pre-op exam, blood work, and a physical before scheduling surgery for early next week. This surgery has a great success rate and Jayla is expected to have 2 months of therapy, but make a full recovery. I will be holding a JACKPOT PHOTO CONTEST to raise money to help this family with their travel expenses of going back and forth to St. Louis over these next weeks. We will award jackpots for both natural and glitz $5 per photo or 5 photos for $15. 1/2 of the total entry fees will be donated to the family in the form of gas cards and/or prepaid Visa card the other 1/2 will be awarded to the winners. The more entries we have, the more we can give away. We will begin accepting entries on Saturday Oct 25 thru Sunday Nov 2. Winners will be announced Wednesday Nov 5.
