Miss Universe Guatemala, S.A. anuncia oficialmente que la representante de Guatemala en Miss World 2009 sera la señorita Alida Maria Boer Reyes de 1.80mt de estatura y de 24 años de edad.

La 59 edicion del certamen se realizara en el centro de convenciones Sandton en Johannesburg, South Africa el 12 de diciembre.
