she felt better that the stallion was farther from her yet now she felt lonely. She lifted her head suddenly. Ears pricked up sharply listening closely... There it was again! The mare galloped off madly in the direction of the sound. The 'call' had come and she had to answer. her sister neede her she would not have "called" for any other reason. It was probably that wretched stallion again. If it was she was going to take her out of that herd and bring her here. She would also leave marks on that stallion's neck. She lengthened her stride considerably hoping to be there before her sister was seriously hurt.
