For the remainder of 2005 Anna smoking sighting were limited. It wasn't until 2006 that probably the best sighting with pictures appeared. It was May 2006 and Anna had just finished lunch, she obviously thought no one was watching, particular the photographer who snapped her as she went to her bag to get her cigarettes and lighter (Marlboro Lights 100) and proceeded to remove a cigarette from the pack and light it up. The only disappointing thing the pics are very small, however doesn't take away from the fact Anna is an addicted smoker.
There were other reported sighting during 2006 including that when she was in Boston, she sat out the back of the restaurant chain smoking cigarettes.

In late 2007 Anna was in her home town of Moscow(boyfriends was performing concerts) and once again after completing her meal lit up a number of cigarettes.

In 2008, sighting of Anna smoking had been far and between until recently when she spotted buying 2 packets of marlboro lights in miami beach, she proceeded to place the cigarettes in her bag and head back to her car. Anna is now obviously careful that her habit doesn't influence kids to take up the habit as she works for the boys and girls clubs thru out America.

No doubt she is still lighting up today and only a matter of time before she is caught on film again.

The fact that on her personal website some one asked her (in the ask anna section) if she was a smoker or not. The question was deleted, which tell you straight away that she is indeed a smoker and didn't want to confirm it, however most people who have followed her know that she is an IRL smoker and has been for atleast 8 years
