I wanted to get your feedback on this. Everyone has a favorite system, and sometimes, it is the fine details that make a pageant become a GREAT pageant. What are some of the unique things that you have experienced at pageants that have made you, as a contestant, feel special or made you happy that you competed, crown or no crown.

Any feedback is welcome, I want to change things up and not be so cookie cutter with my pageant. I want to make sure that EVERY contestant walks away with a great and unique experience.

[> Subject: A director that is sincere. A director that speaks from the heart when she talks, and sets an example. She follows through on every promise, explains every detail, decision, procedure and treats each individual contestant as if she could win. No favorites, no games, no getting involved personally. Quality time, quality events, the royal treatment. Act like a director, not like one of the contesants. Dress well, show integrity and decorum. Keep up websites and keep up marketing. Make your contestants proud of your pageant.

[> Subject: One of my favorite touches was when Mrs. California United States had the husbands on stage for about a minute in their suits/tuxes while a short intro to them was given with "It's Rainning Men" playing in the background. My husband loved that he was recognized by the pageant,

[> Subject: I put my DD in a pageant once and the director had on the paperwork: "any moms who walk their daughters on stage, PLEASE dress professional. Jeans, sweatpants, logo tees are not allowed" I LOVED this b/c you see so many moms with little "baby dolls" and they look like they came from the trailor park!
