[> Subject: The girl who won our state appeared to be being coached for interview by two of the director's staff in the dressing room. It looked as though they were trying to be somewhat discreet, but I was uncomfortable with the situation. I felt she deserved to win, but it seemed unethical that the director's staff was involved in her coaching. Whether or not they should have been helping her this way, they could have avoided the appearance of impropriety, at least, by being more discreet about it.
