Subject: John Bonham (1948-1980)

Bonzo is still greatly missed today. He was simply, the best drummer of all time and all places.

Twenty-nine years ago Led Zeppelin lost the irreplaceable John Bonham.

I was recently watching some footage from one of the 1975 Earls Court (London) shows. When the band returned to the stage for the encore, Bonzo briefly took the mic and made a humorous remark about football (soccer in England). Then he returned to his drums and the band launched into Whole Lotta Love.

A great character and a great drummer who, as Rick said, is still missed today.
