Bonecreek Desert
An old dried up creek runs through the centre of this hot, humid plain. Steep banks line the edges. A few fallen trees provide a bridge across various parts. There is a smattering of trees providing some shelter from the sun, but not nearly enough. The creek bed is littered with the bones of dead animals, some are so old, they could have drowned once when this place was lush and green, others have just fallen down there and slowly rotted and been eaten by vultures. But the water is no more, and all the herds have moved on. This is a sanctuary for the Evil Unicorns. They can scheme and plot against the Goods. You can find a few rodents and slightly larger animals if you look carefully. They live among the undergrowth of the thinly wooded area off to the left most side of the desert. If you live here, those, and little plant life are yours for food. You can draw water from a small lake on the opposite site. A few reeds and a rather large willow line the banks. A cool breeze comes off the lake, but the banks are very steep. You have to watch your step, or you’ll fall. The lake is very deep in the centre. Not many have escaped.
