We are sponsoring a PhotoSafari� this weekend the 28th and 29th of October!
This is an awesome opportunity to gain some experience in an actual commercial setting. Eleven of the top fashion shooters from Kansas City.The top Make up artists and Hair Stylists, as well as wardrobe assistants, will be taking care of you during the two day shoot.On an average of twenty shots per photographer per 10 styles will be taken of each person...that's over 2,000 shots per person! We will pick the best 20 images and put them on your page in modelavenue.com.Then the best six shots will be placed in your portfolio! The portfolio is 8x10 and has your stats and our booking info, this is yours to keep!

PhotoSafari� Information
The PhotoSafari� is a two-day fashion boot camp!
We start at sunrise on Saturday and break that evening at sunset, starting again on Sunday at
sunrise and ending on Sunday at sunset. Various photographers will photograph you around 300 times.
The weekend will consist of 10 different styles of photographs.
1) Business - suit / slacks / dress / what you would wear to an interview.
2) Editorial - this is your fancy fun outfit (pretty much anything goes)
3) Fashion - what you would see in the feature pages of Harper's Bazaar and GQ
4) Lifestyle - mom and kid shots, dad and kids, playing in the yard, shopping
5) Commercial - shopping, eating at a restaurant, etc.
6) Sportswear - what you would play touch football, softball, Frisbee in
7) Active wear - this is more like kaki shorts and polo shirts (company picnic)
8) Swimwear - no thongs! this is shot catalog style
9) Head shots - this is just your face and upper body, plain shirts only please
10) Night life 16 years old and up. - your club wear! We will be at a dance club.
You will need to have at least 2 different outfits per scene for a total of twenty.
You may have more this is up to you, but is not recommended.
You will need to provide your own transportation, food and water. PLEASE bring your own food and water!
We will provide changing areas during the shoot, Bathrooms will not be provided.
For restrooms you may use gas stations and convenience stores. This is your responsibility.
We will provide you with make up artists and hair stylists, please do your make up and hair on Saturday prior to the shoot,
we will touch up any one who needs it. The hair and make up stylists will "redo" you for the next
style and shoot throughout the weekend. You will be given instructions on this please listen to them.
Please make sure you press and clean all your clothing! Bring as many accessories as possible Shoes, shoes, shoes!
You will need to bring your own make up and hair supplies. Your clothing should not be the focus of the shot, tone down the bright big flowers! If you have any additional questions or need help please call 816.678.7977
