I think you're right. They must have been simply exhausted -mentally- to let themselves be tricked into fighting in overtime. I don't know how to condition the mind to be stonger in those situations, but if Coach can figure it out, we might not lose those leads or go shorthanded in overtime. Also, if they had an enforcer to take some of the pressure off during the game they might play differently. Their focus could silghtly... shift. (That's me. Back to the enforcer talk again)

Of course, I'm somewhat new as a hockey fan, so I can understand that he knows more than I do. I can respect him as a better coach than me. It's just... you know.
