First, apologies for not participating in the planning event, but car engine and other systems went belly-up this summer - and spirits were as low as "infrastructure."
I'm with Martha - If it takes money - let's use it for present fun - food, music, and/or photo - I have so much "memorabilia" that just gets recycled. I, personally, have too many teeshirts, insulated coffee mugs, regular mugs, that takes up space. For one, I'm into less - but photos really recreate the event and don't take up much room. Blah blah blah. Meri

Looks like the ball is rolling and there are alot of great ideas out there. My wife's class just had their 45th and it too, was a 2 night event held at a local Marriott. The hotel provided for a great atmosphere to mingle during the day, take off on different events, golf, shopping, gambling etc. First night was a cocktail party and the second night was dinner and dancing. As an outsider, I had a great time and we would want our spouses, partners attending our reunion to feel as welcome.

I'm sure we can come up with some kind of souvenior for the reunion that would last awhile and keep our memories alive. I use letter openers, mouse pads, freezer mugs etc for our business and they are well received...and get used. I still(as does Vicky K) use the ruler the First National Bank of Westboro gave us back in '63.

It's great to see the interest that has been generated over the past several months and a special thanks to Ruth, John and the 1st reunion committee.
