Subject: Nikki Raisis

I was in Massachusetts this weekend visiting Diana and her family in Northampton, as well as, my aunt Mavis Whittemore Crawford in Ashland. On my way to Ashland, I stopped in Westborough to buy some flowers. I started chatting with the clerk in Roche's who was wrapping the flowers and in the course of our conversation,I inquired whether she had grown up in Westborough. She hadn't, but when she learned that I had, she was quick to ask if I had heard of the Raisis.(sp?) Come to find out, her former sister-in-law was Louise Raisis, sister to Nikki (sp?). Of course I shared the news of the website and asked about Nikki. She thought he had moved to Florida, but didn't have any further information. How interesting to discover, that while was talking with this woman in Westborough, there was discussion in the forum about the whereabouts of Nikki!

I have such a tender spot in my heart for our town. I've had the opportunity during these past few years to have more frequent visits there and I am reminded of how lucky we were to have grown up in that community.
