How is the nightlife in Oslo


As I remember it, it is very varied and a lot of things are going on at any time, both centrally and locally, but there are some problems.

Most restaurants and arrangements clise at 12am. Central arrangements tend to be unpleasantly crouded. Many arrangements are semi-private and only open to closed groups. It is not mecessarily so expemsive to get in at arrangements, but once you order something to eat or drink, it gets extremely expensive.

The Basics of Physical Yoga Exercises- or Hatha Yoga

Systems of physical exercises that can be called yoga have been developed many places and with different ultimate purposes, but the improvement of health and physical abilities is always a purpose. In many traditions, especially many of the the Indian traditions of yoga, these bodily improvements are seen as a means for a further higher spiritual goal. In other traditions the bodily improvements together with coupled mental improvements are seen as the main goal, as for exmple in the Chinese traditions.

The basic principles of physical yoga exercises are simple, however, and if you follow these principles, you actually are doing yoga. Therefore you can make your own yoga exercises that fit your own need as long as you follow the principles. In the following these are explained.

An important part of physical yoga is the breathing exercises, or pranayama. This part is in many ways the most fundamental, because the basic type of breathing is also a part of the yoga postures - the asanas. The postures consist of stretching and holding the body in specific stretched positions for some time, while breathing in a specific way. One usually do both pranatama and asanas in the same session. You can do the pranayama before or after the asanas.

BREATHING EXERCISES

The complete yoga-breath is a basic exercise upon which all other breathing exercises are based, and this is also the way you breath during the body postures. It is however also an independent exercise that you can do any time to refresh yourself. It begins with lungs in a totally empty state obtained by contracting your stomach muscles and all of your chest muscles.

Then breath in as much as you can by letting your stomach expand. Then proceed breathing in by expanding the muscles in the mid of your chest. At last complete the filling of your lungs by expanding the upper part of your chest. It is not possible to separate these three faces completely, though, and they shall also glide over into each other in a smooth way.

Then you empty your lungs completely in a similar sequence. First you contract your stomach muscles and empty as much as possible using these muscles. While holding your stomach muscles contracted, you proceed emptying by contracting the muscles in the mid of your chest and then complete by contracting the upper part of your chest.

All other breathing exercises are essentially variants of the complete yoga breath. When doing the exercises you sit in an upright position on a chair or on some cloth at the floor with crossed legs. Some of these exercises are:

- You breath in and out rapidly 8-15 times, and then hold your breath some while.

- You breath in rapidly, using 4 seconds, then hold your breath 16 seconds or as long as it feels comfortable, then breath out using 8 seconds.

- In a more complex variant of the above exercise you breath in while closing one of your nostrils with a finger, hold your breath some while, and then breath out closing the other nostril. Then you repeat it while still closing your other nostril, hold the breath and then breath out while closing the first nostril.

- You can breath in and breath out through your mouth while pressing your lips towards each other so that you get an extra pressure in your lungs. You can also press your lips together while breathing in so that you get an under-pressure in your lungs.

BODY POSTURES

A yoga posture begins with your body in a relaxed position, either laying flat down or sitting right up. You empty your lungs before the posture as in a complete yoga breath.

- Then you slowly swing or twist your whole body or parts of your body into a stretched position. While doing this your breath in as in the complete yoga breath.

- Then you hold the position for a short or longer time. If you hold it long, you are breathing relaxed with the complete yoga breath method, but not in such a complete way that the breath makes you exhausted.

- Then you slowly swing back from the stretched state to the original position while breathing out like in the complete yoga breath.

Most postures are variant of these basic principles, of which a few are:

- You lay on your back on a cloth at the floor. Then swing your arms up and behind your shoulders, stretching all of your body from top to toe. Then slowly sit up and swing your torso forward while stretching your arms towards your toes. If possible bend your torso all the way down to your knees. After holding the position some while, slowly sit up and then lay down to the original position.

- You lay on a cloth at the floor on your stomach, with another cloth under your lower stomach to protect your genitals. Then lift and swing your upper body up as long as possible, while also bending your head back. Push with your hands towards the floor to help the lifting and to get an effective stretch. Then slowly lay down again at your stomach.

- Sit at the floor on a thick cloth with your legs flexed up halfway towards your stomach and your knees together. Then twist your torso and also swing your head to one side, while pushing against your knee with your hands to help the twisting and get an effective stretch. Then, after holding the position a while, swing your torso back and twist to the other side in the same manner.

- Lay on your back on a cloth at the floor. Swing your legs up so your feet come over your head. Then lift your torso up from the floor so that your body rests upon your shoulders, and straighten your body upwards as much as you feel comfortable. Help the lifting and holding the position with your arms. After having been in that upright position some while, descend your torso and legs again.

The classical description of this exercise prescribes that your body shall point straight up, but that causes your neck to bend unpleasantly and a great pressure in your head. Therefore it is best for most people not to straighten out completely when resting the body on your shoulders.

HOW TO LEARN YOGA

You can find exact descriptions of yoga exercises in books and in web-sites or you can attend courses. You will probably find that the exercises are difficult to do as described in the beginning. It is however possible to do them approximately in the beginning and gradually learn to perform them perfectly.

But you can also compose your own exercises that fit your personal condition and need. To be yoga exercises they must be composed according to the principles outlined above. Weather you learn standard exercises or compose your own, you should however choose a set of exercises that will stretch or twist all your body parts.

If a man is anxious for intimacy or fears of not being able to maintain a steady erection, a psychological defense mechanism can cause him to ejaculate prematurely. Then he has a good excuse for not being erect any longer and he avoids a prolonged intimate situation that he fears.

Often a man ejaculates prematurely because he or his woman are stressing and speeding up the act too soon. At too speedy and intense action by the women can also be unpleasant for the man and cause the erection to go down.

Unpleasant sensation that cause an end to the action can be caused by too much friction against the penis acting inside the vagina due to lack of lubricant fluid and sometimes the pubic hair of the woman causes unpleasant sensations.

Sometimes the woman does the act in a way that feels very good for her but gives unwanted stimuli to the man's penis. Some women tend to adjust their position during the act or pull the man forward with her arms so that the penis presses up against the clitoris, but this will typically bend and stretch the penis very unpleasantly or give the extra stimulus needed for the man to ejaculate.

HOW TO AVOID UNPLEASANT FEELINGS AND A TOO SOON EJACULATION

Avoid doing sex in a stressful way. Begin by gently caressing, kissing and fingering each other to build up your excitement. Then you enter your lover with your penis. Also after penetrating your lover, proceed in a slow and gentle way and build up the speed and intensity of your actions gradually.

If you feel you are going to climax before you want to, it will often help to slow down the action and let the feelings and reactions settle before going on more intensely again.

A premature ejaculation can often be stopped more easily by tensing the muscles along and around your urethra and your prostate area after you have paused your actions.

If the man signals to the woman that he is about to climax before due time, the woman can help to stop it by calming down her own actions. She can also stop the ejaculation by gripping around the penis firmly just under the penile head with her thumb at the front side of the penis and the pointer finger and ring finger at the back side. She must hold the grip 10 to 20 seconds.

Another trick the women can use is to press with all her fingers down towards the man's urethra between his scrotum and prostate area. When doing so she can feel the beginning pumping action and she presses so firmly that the pumping action and any flow of semen stops.

Masturbating a couple of hours before sex with the partner can bring down the excitement to a level that makes it possible to keep on a long time before climax. This technique works best for younger men, while it can be difficult for elder men to get a satisfactory erection so soon after masturbation.

The women should learn what types of pelvic postures and actions during intercourse that give good sensations for the man and what types are not felt well or lead to unwanted ejaculation.

It is necessary that both partners cooperate and talk together about doing sex the best way and about tricks and adjustments that can help both of them to have a more satisfactory sex experience and hinder unwanted happenings.

Sensations and reactions that cause the erection to go down or a premature ejaculation can sometimes be avoided by using lubricants that decrease the friction. Using a thick condom can also shield the penis from excessive friction.

If the unpleasant sensations are caused by hair around the vaginal opening, adjusting the hair to a shorter length can help.

The Chadron contest is not a official local. Ashley Roussel's parents felt she was to young to compete, since she will be 18 in April. It is a shame that so many of the girls are unwilling to Travel out west and will only compete on the Eastern end of the state.

There have been contestants with dual residencey for years. Several of them past Miss NE's. MK Hale, K Knicely, B Matthews for a few off the top of my head. MK was from Ark, I think, but moved here for school. Matthews and Knicely grew up here, but went to school out of state. As long as the rules permit it, it works both ways. Both Dover and Howell attend school in state, they have met the requirements of the contract, get over it! I noticed the new Miss SB County attends Drake. Works both ways, can't have a fit over that one either!

I do not know why you have a problem with girls competing here who don't live in Nebraska, as mentioned before it happens all around the U.S. I do however have an issue with the attitude that one girl has shown thus far while being a contestant in the Miss Nebraska Organization. I feel if this young lady were to be crowned in June that the organization would lose a lot of respect from Nebraska residents.

During orientation, I observed all the contestants. I didn't notice "that one girl" with the attitude, I observed several. Honestly, I don't know who the poster was referring to but is sounds like either jealousy or sour grapes to me. I doubt that's different than any other state. If the criteria for competing is met, then get over it. Any contestant doing so has the right to compete. Put on your big girl panties and grow up.

Just so you know, Devin Howell does not hold dual residency. She is only a resident of Nebraska. Her parents move periodically for work and she lives only in Nebraska full time.

Ashley Douglass wow , Haley Herold Wow, Mollie Sheffield wow wow, hmmmmmmmmm Disapointed. Miss Nebraska was a talent show there was nothing but talent, alot of the top eight had horrible walks, horrible gowns, and terrible looks.

Help me get a magazine cover for Miss America!!!!! -- Go Katie!, 21:12:15 03/19/09 Thu [1]

I don't know about you guys, but I am especially impressed this year with Katie's fitness! She looked rockin' in swimsuit at Miss America, and you can see in recent pictures, she continues to have really well defined arms and a great shape. I read a magazine called "Oxygen," which is a women's fitness magazine, and I love it. I think Katie looks as good as the women they out on their cover each month, and I think people would love to read about how she got to where she is, and what her workouts are like. Plus, I have a pet passion for trying to get press coverage for Miss America titleholders from the local level on up, because I think the organization needs my help! And the more people see her, the more people will become interested in her, and in the organization, and will be more likely to donate, volunteer, compete, or at the very least watch.

So! I have e-mailed the editor at Oxygen magazine, saying how impressive I think Katie is, and that I, for one, would love to see her on the cover, and inside the magazine, talking about her commitment to fitness and her workouts as she manages her crazy schedule, etc. But I know they will be more likely to listen if mine is not the only e-mail!!!!

8th Annual Scholarship Pageant Cancelled

The 8th Annual Miss Alliance/Miss Panhandle pageant, set for March 14, 2009 in Alliance, has been cancelled due to lack of contestant interest. The decision to cancel the pageant was very hard and emotional for pageant director Shardel Nelson who started the pageant 8 years ago. Nelson is hoping this decision will only effect this pageant year and she hopes to see the pageant return for the 2009-2010 pageant season.

Nelson said, This was such a hard decision to make considering our current Miss Panhandle, Gretchen Bergquist, was honored with the title of Miss Nebraska 2008 in June, 2008. She is the first Alliance pageant titleholder to win the Miss Nebraska title and it would have been a great honor to bring her back to the panhandle to celebrate her year as Miss Nebraska at our pageant. She would also like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and donors who have always supported the program.

There were not enough contestants to hold the Alliance pageant, but suddenly a new local has sprung up in Hastings? How does that happen? Will they have enough contestants? Will it be an official or unofficial local? And what happened to the Chadron contestant? Her picture is not on the Miss Nebraska website anymore. Did she get DUI/MIP like the previous one?

First, you obviously don't know a lot about the Nebraska pageant. It has absolutely nothing to do with Nebraskaland Days. They are two separate events that just happen to fall in close proximity on the calendar. Two. Why is it in North Platte? It is a small enough community to pull lots of people and businesses in to help with it that you don't get in a large city, and yet big enough to host it. It's also small enough to be the focus of a large portion of the town for that week. If you had it in Omaha, Lincoln, even Grand Island, it probably wouldn't even make the front page of the newspapers except on Sunday after the crowning. The press of North Platte keeps it visible all week. Third, what do you think is done with these girls after they are crowned, that they're left high and dry? Nebraska spends some big bucks looking for clothes, getting coaching from pageant professionals like Bill Wolfe for talent and others for interview, modeling professionals for walking and posing, and so on. Gretchen's dress for talent this year was extremely expensive and it was one of the most beautiful in Vegas. So why wasn't she noticed? Why wasn't Ashley? Why, why, why? If we knew that answer, we would bottle it and sell it to the 25-35 states that always are just in the background. Every year when the contingency goes to Miss America, they always hear how amazing Miss Nebraska is and she's gotta be in the top 10, and yet when the announcement is made, she isn't. It is frustrating to all. It has absolutely nothing to do with the board, in my humble opinion. It's the judges. We all know that at every local and state pageant, you could have three different panels of judges watching the same show, and you'd have three different winners. Personally, I don't think Nebraska and some of the states are taken seriously as they haven't got a stellar past full of winners. South Dakota finally broke into that this year, but their girl was so tall, how could she not be noticed and watched? Before you go accusing state boards, and thinking you know what's what, you'd better check your facts. That's my personal rant

There is an old saying about leading a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. I know for a fact that Nebraska provides lots of opportunities for their contestants and funding as well, but if the girl isn't willing to go with it, there isn't much you can do. Several that I know personally did everything their "consultants from KC, Denver, Dallas, and so on" said, and it didn't do them any good. Some contestants feel they know more than those who have been involved for a while, and refuse any help, whether talent advise, interview, wardrobe, etc.

With Ashley Bauer last year and Gretchen Bergquist this year, we had two bright, articulate, gorgeous women who rocked their SS and EG. Why do they just fade away at MA? I'm not a pageant person, but I've wondered for ages why the organization is based in North Platte and Nebraskaland days. It's time for some new blood--come on people. Step up to the plate and get these women to the next level.

After my own unfortunate experience at the state level and after listening about the unfortunate experiences of others at the the state level, it has come to my attention that a good number of states don't step up to the plate and do what they need to do. I do not understand why they put so much time and effort into MAO, but then fail to take the extra step. Maybe they just don't know how to do it. In my state my daughter was not allowed to use ANY of her resources without prior state approval which either took weeks to get or the requests were flatly ignored. She had tons of resources and did not end up using any of them. So while that might work for some contestants, it's simply not an idea that all contestants have available to them. Sorry system. Yes, but not for things like hair color, etc. which are very obvious. She had her own amazing hair dresser, but she couldn't use her since she was not approved. So, yes, where we could have done that for some things, others were not available. Also, she was required to use state sponsored wardrobe - yuck! Nebraska is a smaller state. Perhaps you are bringing up a good point. Perhaps all resources should be pooled in the state, and they should consider cutting the local programs and go to an open state pageant. That way, all affiliated with the program could work for ONE state program to make it the best it could be. Get to know people in the state. It is known that there are several people who have some areas that they can give their opinions and assistance (and for free or very little money) in preparation. I think you are being grossly unfair about the Miss Nebraska Organization. If you look at the track record, Nebraska has a goodly number of NFT winners, QOL runners up, NF interview awards, preliminary winners etc. The Nebraska Board works with their winner to the extent the winner will allow them, I've known several Miss Nebraska's who felt that the board were hicks and couldn't advise their way out of paper bag.. obviously with all those other awards, they can do that pretty darned well. If a girl cannot "run with the big dogs" as you put it, then she should be provided the resources so that she is capable of "running with the big dogs." I honestly could not image any contestant who has made it to the national pageant who would not desire to make a good showing.
