*instead of relying on running, they take the quicker route for them, by leaping through the trees at the edge of the forest, keeping up easily with the black horse and making no sound at all, as they have been taught. The horse is a strange animal to them, having never seen anything like it but the zwoots at Sorrow's End, but their mind is on the battle ahead. Suddenly a black-haired, emerald eyed, silm figure joins them in jumping from branch to branch. Redwood looks over, startled, and almost loses her next handhold.*
~Cometdrop?~ *She Sends, grabbing quickly for the branch. White teeth flash in a grin from the new elf.*

~Well, you've been gone for so long. I had such a fright when I sensed you near. Will you help us?~ *Redwood thrust what she knew of the battle at her soulsister, who instantly agreed. They caught up with Tyleet and quickly explained, then swung onward, running along the branches and leaping or swinging the next.*
