*the howls come closer, then stop as the tribe of Wolfriders emerge from the forests, the elves either riding or walking. Atop the first few wolves are Cutter, a very tired Leeta, Nightfall, and a rather pale young girl, Redwood. The chieftan dismounts and walks over to the small gathering in front of the cottage* Redwood asked to see you. *he says gruffly* Nightfall also has something to say, and who am I to argue? *he turns and walks back to his wolf, a pinkish tinge appearing around his cheeks. Obviously disgruntled but not angry about Nightfall ignoring his protests that the girl was still weak, he stands next to the large grey wolf, nodding slightly to the females near him. Redwood grins as best she can as she and her mother approach her sisters friends, now her friends. Nightfall speaks first.* I thank you for trying to protect my daughter against Rayek. *she says, rather stiffly.* Though she was a fool and a small disgrace to our tribe by trying to stop the male from following Rayek, she was at least able to prevent him from finding our Holt. *the female elf thinks of saying more, but stops at that. As her red-haired girl child steps forward, she retreats to her tribemates.* I say with Mother, thank you. Bad elf Rayek try kill anyway, lucky Leeta near. *she makes a good try at expressing herself, not used to speaking anything but the language the Wolfriders use. Still smiling, she holds tight to her wolf's ruff to keep her from sliding off. Tiring quickly, she turns to carefully ride back to her tribe-mates. Her chief speaks again.* Rayek has been banished by Timmain, he will not be here again. We will go back to our Holt now, Tyleet says she will return after a few days. *he raises his moonsword to bid them farewell, and the Wolfriders fade into the bushes, howling their own goodbyes and see-you-soons, then they stop, traveling back to their Holt in silence.*
