My daugther Katie loves doing pageants. Period. She has done natural and semi-glitz. I like them both. In semi-glitz you get to wear makeup and have your hair done. I personally like semi-glitz better. I love seeing Katie in her glitzy dress. I do prefer natural photos but I guess all that might change after we do a Mr. Bud photo shoot. The only difference I see is the casualwear walk. In Ms. Lori's pageants you get to do an upbeat walk/modeling. In PONC, you can't even have upbeat music. It's all about popping the knee, and where to put your hands. I know some moms don't like the make up and fake hair and tan. I have personally never done the fake hair or tan, but Kim does make a point. Whenever we are done at a pageant, Katie has to watch her hair 2x to get all the hairspray and other products out so if we did the fake hair, it would probably save hers. As for the make up, I believe less is more and it only helps to enhance her beauty. All in all I like both systems. HTH, Shannon
