I want to let it be known that only 2 moms called me after this pageant & one of which I had spoke with about coaching before the pageant. I haven't coached in over 2yrs. I had mentioned to this parent that I would be willing to work with her child on her casualwear. I haven't had one session with this child & after this post about me coaching I will not. I also want to point out that I didnt agree with the placement of some of the contestants but I am not the judge. I also so told these 2 moms this. I honestly thought their children did well & showed personalty. I have been around pageants my entire life so I am not new to the phrase you cannot please everyone. I am not going to beg anyone to come to my pageants. If you dont like it dont come. The scores were all very close. I have master score sheets that prove how close. We had to break ties in the side events & we did that with the higher beauty score. I announced this twice. I know that the sound did suck but this was annouced very loudly. Also for others that asked about this were told the same. I tried to make this pageant fun. I even gave cash when I shouldnt have. I needed 25 & we had 24. The only reason I did this was because I didnt feel like contestant show suffer due to 2 contestants not showing up. We had 26 deposits in hand of contestants that were suppost to compete.
