Cleaning products can quickly become an expense that most of us can't afford.

To clean my walls I mix into a large cleaning bucket-

1 cup of Borax
1/2 cup ammonia
1 teaspoon dish washing liquid

Add 1 gallon of hot water and mix well.

I would caution on using this mixture on wood and never, never mix ammonia with chlorine bleach.

Paper towels aren't cheap to purchase either. Since the paper towel companies have down-sized on their products with less sheets to each roll, I use newspapers to clean my windows. Results: A streak-free shine!
