Subject: Christopher williams and family needs justice

March 4, 2013

To whom this may concern,
My name is Tiara Jackson and I felt the need to write this letter on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Clemons whom lost their son Christopher Lamar Williams in gun violence. Christopher Lamar Williams in my eyes was one the most dedicated and well known person he always wanted to lend out a helping hand to his community and had the biggest heart of all. His life was taken from him at such a young age and it was due to someone who had access to a firearm and was able to take away someone’s life in such a horrible way. Christopher and his family were well known in my family and you might as well, say family. For something to be so tragic to happen I feel the need to address that not only will his family he leaves behind live in grief but the will also live in fear.
I myself and my brother Antonio Jackson has always lived in fear most of all grief. You see at the age of 3 and Antonio the age of 1 lost our father Oscar Lee Jackson due to gun violence due to teens having the access to reach firearms. I really want to put my point across that not only will the Williams family and the Lail family grieve they have lost an important part of their family. Christopher leaves behind his mother whom was the Queen of his life and his Aunt Quita who stood by his side every step of the way. It hurts me most of all to see that Christopher had to leave behind his sibling. His best friend he was the best brother anyone could wish for. Not only will she have to grow up knowing her brothers not here but that his life was taken and she has to live with the fact that he will never come back. It hurts knowing this because I know how I feel. Still until this day I cry for my father nightmares haunt me. I don’t want that for her but now its reality. I really want justice as well for the Williams and Lail Family.
Still until this day I fight for the murders that killed my father to never see the light of day but also for the protection of my family members and everyone who is close to me. I feel that there should be some type of justice done t the guy who took Christopher’s life you see cause when he took away his life he took away a piece of my heart one more loved one gone due to gun violence. I would like whom ever that is reading this letter to know that you may not have lost someone due to murder but maybe even a different lost but when someone’s life is taking on such horrible terms it a different feeling because maybe you didn’t get to say your last I love you and most of all the closer is not there and your left to morn and grieve on a love one whom is gone.
Christopher’s Family will now have to fight for justice, and I am begging coming from someone whom has lost my father and now being the age of 24 it still breaks me down until this day to realize that I grew up with out a father but he will never come back nothing I do or say will bring my daddy back or replace what was taken from me. And on the Williams and Lail’s behalf Christopher had such a bright future he graduated and had nothing on his record he was a local rapper who was doing what most guys should be doing better their selves stop trying to live these crime lives, not in gun violence. Chris always defended not only for other people but for everyone he loved and I know that if he was here Christopher Williams would want justice.
Most of this entire letter is to ask for not only Justice but to end this gun violence. I think that the authorities should pull every crime maker off the street and banned gun usage to an extent, because a Man who can take a life can also serve life and never see the light of day. There will never be any type of closer for this family I know it isn’t for mine and there needs to be justice. And some type of closer for this family. This man needs to be put away for life.
Please I am begging that Justice will be served and the murderer who murdered Christopher Lamar Williams and never sees the light of day and is locked away for life. His life can’t and will never be replaced there is nothing anyone can do but grieve knowing that we lost another Strong Man due to violence and it could have been avoided. We all lost someone special and neither one of them will come back. So once again I ask for Justice!

Sincerely,
Tiara Jackson

>Tiara, I can't know or feel what you have gone through and what you are experiencing now, but my heart goes out to you and the two families. My father died an old man in his bed, not shot down in an act of violence. I have to remind myself that many others are not so fortunate.

We need to keep pushing our elected representatives to do the right thing and get these guns off the streets. Right now the NRA controls even the gun makers and is fighting against all that is decent and that makes our lives safer.

Please channel your anger and frustration and grief against the person who murdered Christopher, but also against those who say that it is our "right" to carry guns. They bear a heavy responsibility for the death toll in our city.
