Subject: What is the latest status on leakage at Chernobyl??

Approximately one month ago we learned of the required destruction of goat's milk in Sweden because of excessive radiation readings. I could find no follow-up stories in the news until this morning when I was able to access a BBC story from April 26th of this year. BBC claims there is a crack of almost .6 mile in the cement sarcophogus covering the reactors. Is this the cause of the readings of higher radiation found in Sweden??
