![]() "I got cold and then Theron saw you, I would deign to assume." Dimitri tugged back the cuff of his coat and glanced down at the face of his watch. Although the timepeice's crystal face was free of scratching, the brass band was much more worn and beginning to tarnish around the edges and the clasp had broken time and time- but it kept time faithfully and Dimitri was loathe to dispose of such a valuable and much-loved companion. "It was also time for tea." "Yes; and second breakfast." "Oh stop with the Tolkien references!" "Not my fault you look like an elf. Oooh lookit me with blonde hair and tights skipping about!" "I don't wear tights!" "You do skip, though, and that was my point. Warriors don't skip, Dimitri. They slay all who oppose them and destroy all that remains in their paths." Dimitri chuckled. "Well, I must agree with you there, my friend." Theron rolled his eyes and once again returned his attentions to the woman seated beside him. Aura? Like the spectral auras that surrounded people and were classifiable by color? That kind of aura? Or more of a, y'know, godly aura. Or was that the same thing? Theron didn't really care. Er, well, not to say he didn't care it was just... just... a useless line of thought? Oh hell. Now his brain was falling out. "Are you Greek? We're Greek. Very Greek." Theron nodded in unison with Dimitri. "Have you been to Greece? We like Greece." He prodded Dimitri with his foot. "Lessgo back home tomorrow." "Tomorrow?" "Yes, tomorrow. I rather fancy seeing the coast again." "We're a half mile from the ocean, Theron. What's so different?" "There isn't as many dead people running about in Greece." "Yes, in Greece they stay in the ground where they belong." |
