Once she was done with her little outburst, she felt the crack of Lucian's hand once more landing across her face. Damn, he had to stop doing that. The cut that was starting to heal inside her cheek came open again, sending a little blood trickling onto her tongue. The skin that he made contact with throbbed and tingled. This time though, she managed to stay upright, only stumbling back a step. With her jaw locked, she could only stare at him, all the hate that flowed through her body hoping to make a hole in his face, following him as he walked away. Her hate glare was only interupted when the other man picked her up, cradling her in his arms and kissing her forehead. It would be comforting had it been Cainen and not this guy that had been pinning her to the street and groping her, but she wrapped her arms around this neck anyway incase he had the sudden urge to drop her on the hard cement. His words only worried her; he was being too nice...especially after all of that. "Yah know, I'm really not that hungry," she said before moving her arms from his neck and using his face to push herself away from him. Feet hitting the ground, she ran in the direction opposite the twins and other redhead, headed for Cainen's house. He would keep her safe...she just needed to get there soon, before Lezedi could get to her. Staying in as much light as she possibly could, running as far and fast as she could, she finally made it to her car. Fury hopped in, started the ignition and sped off to Cainen's beach house, on the verge of hyperventalation the whole way there. As she ran to the door, mahogony eyes flickered over her surroundings, making shapes in the dark that only made her feet move faster. Please be home, please be home, please be home.
