You're welcome.

Don't be nervous, Joel. Just play your normal game and you'll be fine.

Again, don't get stressed about the scout being there. You will do OK.

I don't think Bactine is made anymore and my mom didn't like it when I did that.

Oh I understand that. I know he loved us. He just wasn't good at expressing his emotions. I think the only time I ever saw him cry was when my older brother's remains were found. My brother committed suicide in 2006.

Indeed.

I think you may be right, Joel.

Yes.

First of all, my niece had a boy and yes it is very COOL being an uncle. My younger brother has a son in 7th Grade and last night I went to see him play baseball. His team lost 7-6 and it was a tough loss. The bases were loaded and my nephew was on third when the pitcher walked in a run. The next inning, the Ump called a balk on the pitcher on my nephew's team and a run scored. The opposing team later scored again and my nephew's team lost.

It is an AWESOME experience. Ask your parents to describe their feelings when they held you for the first time when you were born.

Probably not over the long run.

Glad you have forgiven him. Maybe that whippin' was really meant for me because my parents didn't spank me when they found that pack of cigarettes in my room. :D

Probably.

I really deserved it then, didn't I? I freely acknowledge that.

I don't think you'll be disappointed this year. They are off to a good start.

I would be surprised if not only your parents but your school principal, your coach, and even your friends' parents wouldn't want a piece of you if you pulled a stunt like that! If I were that kid's dad, I'd give it to him good with a razor strop.

Well we adults have ways of helping teens remember. :D
