He chuckled as she admitted that she'd left her shoes somewhere in the airport, just imagining her running so fast that her shoes went flying. Yep, she had to be a sight to see. He might just have to get his hands on that security footage. He pulled her a bit closer to his side , rubbing her arm through his jacket "Well that explains the bare feet at least. I'll see if we cant get those back for ya... They looked good" Hell, the whole get up had looked amazing this morning. Had nearly broken his resolve not to ask her to stay.
He guided her back into the building, taking her back to the seldom used locker room. There really wasn't much point to it when you had all of three people in the entire department. But everyone kept a change of clothes and hygiene products in a locker, just in case they needed them. "The showers through there. Might help warm you up" He motioned to the door at the other end of the room bfore opening a locker and pulling out matching navy blue sweat pants and sweatshirt "These should fit you, Sabrina's not that much taller than you are.... There's towels in the cabinets there by the door" He leaned in and kissed the side of her head, hugging her to him before releasing her "I'd best go make sure your brother hasn't gotten himself into trouble... Take your time, I'll just be in my office" But he didn't go just yet, he wanted to be sure she was ok before he left her on her own.
I'm not strong enough to stay away Can't run from you I just run back to you Like a moth I'm drawn in to your flame Say my name, but it's not the same You look in my eyes I'm stripped of my pride And my soul surrenders and you bring my heart to its knees
And it's killin' me when you're away, I wanna leave and I wanna stay I'm so confused,So hard to choose Between the pleasure and the pain And I know it's wrong, and I know it's right Even if I try to win the fight, my heart would overrule my mind And I'm not strong enough to stay away |
