By the time the receptionist paged his phone, Seth was well into a dream about drag racing and scantily clad women. He snorted and almost fell over backwards when her dull voice cut through his dream like a bucket of ice water. "Shit. Fuck... What is it?" He straightened in his chair, setting his hat on the desk and running a hand over his hair "Alright. Let him know I'll be right there" He stood, straightening his uniform before he exited the door. He ran a hand over his beard, checking that it was laying flat and nothing had gotten stuck in it. Once, he'd walked around half the day with one of those fugi apple stickers stuck to his chin before someone had felt the decency to tell him.
He made his way to the reception room, opening the door and heading for the burly german with his new k9. He knew basic conversion in seven languages, though at times he wished he knew more. "Guten Abend. How was the drive?" He leaned a hip against the counter top, crossing his arms over his wide chest. He knew better than to eyes the dog right now, it would only put them on bad starting terms. He wanted the evening to walk the dog, give it a chance to unwind. Then they could have a slow sunday in the office, do some bonding...
"Why don't you come on back... Coffee's not bad, if you want some" He nodded towards the coffee pot, knowing it reheated rather well. He lead the way back into his office, glancing at the big dog bed currently tucked in the corner beside his desk. The day desk girl had brought it in early in the week, leaving it in his office with a big bow on top. When he'd asked about it, she'd smirked 'with how much your in there, he might as well be comfortable' and she'd walked away.
Give me skies of black and blue the way you make me feel Give me skies of green and red cold winds that make it real Storms are brewing deep within of hurt and loss and pride It's good to see the world in pain when I take a walk outside
