It had eased the tension she felt in her gut. She should stay with Verda and her dwindled pack. It was her duty. But she really wanted to go out and drink beer and snuggle with Ronon. But hey! If Verda went, that’d make things easy. Lyla physically brightened as the invitation was extended and swept blue eyes back to her Alpha. Yay! She had accepted! Yay! Lyla sprang up from her seat and sprung across the room. “Come on, Verda. I have to get my jacket.” Here was the opportunity she needed. In the span of a few minutes Lyla had gathered her coat up from the next room and filled Verda in on the attack. He was male in his middle 20’s. He was a shifter (judging by the speed that he changed) that turned to a panther or a jaguar. He was skinny but tall with long brownish hair that was highlighted in places. He had sideburns and an unshaven face. But Lyla knew a lot of these characteristics could change. Besides, Lyla confessed that she had been too shocked to really recognize anything else. She had also showed Verda the wounds inflicted into her side as she explained how she’d been dragged away from Ronon. It had happened so fast. Her inquisitive eyes peered into Verda’s as she lowered her shirt. Only a few minutes had ticked away and already Lyla was backing closer to the door that separated them from Ronon. Beers and Pizza!!
