Bernstein is 8 - 4 against Lucas in prior events. Lucas is out of the gate first and runs his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win light. No problems for Bernstein, but slowed from his qualifying time.

Hartley then starts to loose traction and drop cylinder just past half track, and that was all Langdon needed to take the win. Langdon started spinning the tires and dropping cylinders on the top end.

Brown was out of the gate first and never looked back as Kalitta banged the blower as soon as he hit the throttle. When Kalitta bang the blower the chute automatically deployed. Brown with his quickest pass today. This is Brown's 21st overall National event win, his fifth in Top Fuel and his third this year.
