You are cordially invited to attend the 2002 “Simply Southern” National Pageant. The first annual pageant will be held at the Clarion Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi on July, 20 . We are looking forward to a GREAT pageant with the CONTESTANTS in mind …offering a wonderful pageant at a wonderful price with awesome awards! Be sure to call and book your rooms early! Age Divisions
(Age As Of June 1)
GIRLS - 0-11mths., 12-23mths., 2yrs., 3yrs., 4yrs., 5yrs., 6-7yrs., 8-9yrs., 10-12yrs., 13-15yrs., 16-19yrs., 20 & up
BOYS – 0-2yrs., 3 & up
1 Simply Southern Grand Supreme - $5000 Bond!
Winner will receive a $5000 savings bond or $2500 cash on stage, a gorgeous 10in. National crown, embroidered National title banner and banner pin, great gift and picture on future pageant promotions! This will be the contestant with the highest total points from all events. Your Casual Wear score will replace your Sportswear score if higher.
3 Simply Southern Supremes - $200 Bonds
Winners (0-3 / 4-9 / 10 & up) will receive $200 savings bonds or $100 cash on stage, a gorgeous 10in. National crown, embroidered National title banner and banner pin, great gift and picture on future pageant promotions! These will be the contestants with the next highest total points from all events. Your Casual Wear score will replace your Sportswear score if higher.
Simply Southern National Queens/Kings - $500 Bonds
Winner in each division will receive a gorgeous 8in. National crown, embroidered National title banner and banner pin, great gifts and picture on future pageant promotions and with 15 in your division, you will receive a $500 savings bond! We are looking for a Beautiful contestant! No modeling scores will be given during Beauty Competition. Everyone competes on equal basis.
4 Alternates in each division will receive a National trophy and gift!
Sportswear / Casual Wear
Winner in each division will receive a wonderful wrapped gift! Only your highest score will be used when tallying Supreme. Great music will be provided. Have fun! No pro-am for Casual Wear! Casual Wear must be kept simple and cute…no glitz. 2 Alternates will receive a national award.
Photogenic
Winner in each division will receive a wonderful wrapped gift! Turn Pictures in at registration with name and division labeled on back. 2 Alternates will receive a national award.
Simply Beautiful
Winner in each division will receive a satin logo jacket and a beautiful 6in. crown! This award is based on FACIAL BEAUTY only!
Best Fashion / Best Hair / Best Smile
Winner in each division will receive a National award!
**EVERY CONTESTANT MUST BRING 1 WRAPPED GIFT TO REGISTRATION. PLEASE HAVE NAME AND DIVISION LABELED ON IT. THIS WILL GO TO THE NATIONAL QUEEN/KING IN YOUR DIVISION.YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT IT**
**THERE WILL BE OVERALL EVENTS ADDED AT THE DOOR PAGEANT DAY**
