The forests are dark and dense, thought not really evil, per se. Giant oaks line the road, which has thinned to a mere path as it enters the forests of Ankla. A strange and wonderous land, Ankla is home to many creatures, including Dryans. Not all are welcome here, but elves and centaurs travel freely. The forest soon opens up slightly, the woods becoming almost pleasant, though they still hold an eerie quality for those unused to the confines of Ankla. Upon a hilltop somewhat distant lies a tower, more of a castle really. The area surrounding the marble and granite structure has a strange feel to it, and though the path there is infrequently traveled, it is a wide and well-worn road. Only those who wish to be Mage should dare walk that path, to the Tower of Da'ika. The path splits, the northwestern fork continuing on towards Sylvanestri. The right fork heads northeast, leading to Kan'daar. Do you continue, or do exit Ankla Forests for the relative safety of the Northern Road?
