Subject: Dogs Improvement

I know it may not look like it, due to Win/Loss record, but the Dog's rebuild is coming along real well.

In round 8 we probably did better than anyone has with the amount of players out through injury...

Brodie Grundy - Knee
Harry Cunningham - Abdominal
Changkuoth Jiath - Hammy
James Stewart - Calf
Max Holmes - Ankle
Mitch McGovern - Hammy
Phoenix Spicer - Hammy
Riley Garcia - Knee
Sam Simpson - Concussion
Zac Langdon - Ankle
Joel Smith - Ankle
Tex Wanganeen - Ankle
Will Kelly - Hip

Even with those players out we still had 8 Emergencies and 2 other players to choose from.

We're really missing Grundy and CJ and a few others playing below their average output like Maynard, Gray and Jamie Cripps . But it's the players that are stepping up that I'm really rapt with.
Aaron Naughton, Josh Daicos, Daniel Rioli, Nick Blakey, Riley Bonner, Ben Mckay...

Then the new players like Nick Martin, Granger-Barrass, McLean, Connor Idun, Rosas, Farrer, Holmes, Horne-Francis, Tyler Brown are all getting games and most have had some pretty good scores.

Sadly, it looks like I have at least 3 more injuries to contend with this week, Weightman, Mckay and Bonner. The good thing is though, I'll still be able to field a full squad, though might end up copping another KPD fine.

Anyway, I may be down the bottom, but I'm happy with the progress. I reckon my full squad will be pretty awesome if they can get it togethet...
