Subject: Rule Proposal for next off-season - No player top-ups before PSD

I think we introduced the ability for coaches to replace players who retired/died/sacked in the off-season because we had no PSD at the time, and it meant a team was short until the MSD time

But since introducing the PSD I think we are better off without it.

1) The best players on the FA List are taken from those who should have access to those players first, which are the teams on the bottom of the ladder.

2) It allows a coach the ability to pick up a 'Top Up' player or a player who has shown great training/ pre-season form, which I think is a huge advantage.

I propose that after the completion of the main draft, lists are locked and any players who need replacing are replaced in the next season's PSD, with whatever picks that team is allocated, based on previous seasons ladder positions

Thoughts?

If I have missed an obvious reason to keep things as they are, please let me know.
