Subject: NEED SOME IDEAS

So, fair bit happening in SL atm, thanks all for the voting.

We'll have a mini draft in the coming weeks, just finalising votes/rules & KPP eligibility 2022 to be released (prior to draft).

In the meantime, we need some ideas/suggestions for how SAM and QUINTON enter the SL National Draft.

Spurs finished 10th
Sharks finished 11th

Sam and Quinton are not officially affiliated to one team or the other, given they are starting fresh with a mini draft.

Spurs traded their ROUND 2 pick to RAMs so have one less pick.

Current list of picks:
Spurs - 5, 36, 50, 64, 78, 92
Sharks - 4, 21, 35, 49, 63, 77, 91

Here's my idea...

Given one coach shouldn't be given an advantage over another & their lists combined deserve to be given draft picks equivalent to that of a 10th and 11th placed side.

TEAM A = 4, 23*, 37, 51, 65, 79, 93 = 3681 "Draft Value Index (DVI)"
TEAM B = 5, 21, 36, 50, 64, 78, 92 = 3632 DVI

*the pick 23 is being added to the draft which pushes every pick back 1 (hence the above not aligning to the draft sheet)

2 reasons for making it pick 23 and not pick 22:
1) John deserves to keep pick 22 as-is, it is where Spurs rightfully finished
2) It helps to even up the DVI, nothing will make up for the value difference between pick 4 and 5 but it's close.

I would say, whoever gets pick 1 in the mini-draft gets pick the TEAM B set above.

Anyway, just an idea - give us your input/ideas and we'll see if we need a vote. Obviously my idea impacts everyone as we all drop back a pick by introducing a new one but I think it's the fairest way for the new coaches.
