.. but you did say it was "ludicrous". So the coaches not selecting during that time are by extension, what? Why is it/they ludicrous when the time allocated is 24 hours?

I dont think those and other comments are fair or warranted.

I am all for us organising a "draft night" every national draft where we all get together and have 5min per pick to smash out the first 2 or 3 rounds, before reverting to a 24 hour clock, but that is not what has been set up.
