"And I guess I wont have to." He tossed the statement over his shoulder as he sauntered through a wooden door frame, arched at the top, and moved into a large room. It was lit sparingly with pale candles that had long dripped over their thin edges and dripped to the wooden floor beneath. Each drip added to the long stalagmites that were forming off the glowing edges. The windows in the room where opened allowing the fall scented air to blow in and ruffled the thin white curtains that obscured the night from view. Telcoltl made no other comment as he drifted towards a slender wooden chest against the plastered yellowed walls. Upon it sat a vat of purple wine. He poured two long stem bulbous glass and lifted them with hooked fingers under the throat. He sipped from his own and offered the gent the other. He passed it off while glancing into the older male's eyes.

This was Telcoltl's coven and here he was a master. There would be no line crossing on his behalf. He threw his thin frame into the warm comforts of a chair. He kicked his legs over the arm and rustled until comfortable. The wine was brought to his lips again and he savored the grape's fermented flavor.
