At 81 years of age and a victim of cancer, actress Isela Vega died in Mexico City.
The news was made known by his relatives on social networks and was confirmed by Televisa through his Twitter account, noting that "relatives confirm the lamentable death of actress Isela Vega."
Vega, whose roles in "La ley de Herodes" and "La viuda negra" gave him Ariel awards, left a filmography of 130 productions between series and feature films.
His most recent participation in a film was in "Cindy la regia", while on TV he was part of "The house of flowers".
"If you see that you have spent more than 100 films, about 150, on the set making scenes, sequences, inventing, studying, all that, it is that you have spent half your life in fiction," he said at the time.

Isela Vega was the girl who did not know she would be an actress.
The redilas truck owned by her father, to which she placed a sheet or cloth in front of it, and then opened it as a curtain, was Isela Vega's first stage.
She was very young and, although she did not act, she did introduce other children and after that she got off to laugh with them as part of the audience.
"I always liked acting, although my taste was unconscious," says Isela Vega in a biographical book published by the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
The actress of more than 130 productions between film and television, who died yesterday after fighting cancer, was born on a ranch in Hermosillo, Sonora, 81 years ago.
In 1960, after taking some acting workshops, she was invited to participate in the film "Tres tristes tigres", having a small scene in which Luis Aguilar sings to her and other girls. Nobody stopped Vega anymore.
She was a woman who puts a priest in trouble in "The Black Widow"; the lépera Dońa Lupe, owner of a brothel, in "Herod's Law"; the sexy woman in "The oldest trade in the world" or the northern cousin in "Por mis pistolas", next to Mario Moreno "Cantiflas".
Anything else? She was part of that cinema that defied good morals in terms of sexuality. She was part of "Piranhas love in Lent"; "Appearances can be deceiving", "Naná" and "The cry of the turtle", where her naked people swirled around the box office.
Funny thing: Isela did not see his films beyond the premiere. But not because of ego or lack of self-criticism, but because she did not like to look to the past, but forward. "I don't like the idea of turning into a pillar of salt," she once told Playboy magazine.
She preferred to keep the anecdotes of her work, which she gladly told. Like her when she filmed "The spring of the scorpions", with Enrique Álvarez Félix.
"It was a scene at night, it was very cold and it was raining. I told the director (Paco del Villar) that there was water and it was freezing. Then he replied that there was no way to heat it. I only did the work later," he told EL UNIVERSAL during the launch of the comedy More the devil knows for old.
She had children with singer Alberto Vázquez and actor Jorge Luke. He loved them both, she claimed. But not necessarily to live a lifetime with them.
Vega was the girl who did not know that she would be an actress. She was just someone who, in addition to setting up the stage in her father's dump truck, she sang to an old doll that she carried everywhere.
"And she sang to him: come pretty little doll, come to sleep in my arms, poor thing, poor thing, they broke you to pieces," she recalled.
