Subject: -*Against my Better Judgement*-

All was quiet in the night. The sounds of her pack’s howls had died off in the distance as she moved closer and closer to the pack lands of her old friend but now greatest enemy. Her walk had been long and had given her the time to consider the changes her life had taken. But she would not share these with Sins. She no longer had the pleasure in confiding everything to her midnight tinged companion. She dreaded appearing at the ominous castle but knew; against her better judgment, that it was necessary. Deadly Sins and Kosses had shared more than any two wolves could. They had been allies, lookouts, partners-in-crime, and most of all friends. Even if that friendship was severed, Kosses would still care for Deadly Sins with her whole heart. It was a flaw that Kosses accepted. Deadly Sins’ heart might not hold any residual love for Kosses…but Kosses’ heart would always shelter it for Sins. She mounted the steps with ease despite the fact that her four legged body wasn’t designed for stairs. Then, without hesitation, she sat her rump down on the stone and waited. She knew that trouble was brewing for Sins and her heart wouldn’t let her friend go without the foresight.
