Libraries are full of books and other materials, and now we can also get information via computers. Maybe some, or even a lot, of all that material may have been inspired by God, and could be of much greater value than any (approximate? improper?) translation of any ancient writings, or even of another translation of ancient writings. I assume that if God would have wanted to preserve the correct wording of his earlier "words", then God would have prevented the loss and/or destruction of the ORIGINALS of the ancient texts, and perhaps even made available tape recorders at that time with which to get accurate reproductions/evidence of what actually was said by whom when under which then existing conditions.
